Yesterday, Palestinian journalist Ismail Alghoul captured footage of the Israeli military’s strike on the Orthodox Church of St. Porphyrius, the third oldest church in the world, where displaced Palestinian families were sheltering. Today, @ismail_gh2 was killed in an Israeli airstrike with cameraman Rami al-Rifi in Gaza City. We mourn the loss of Ismail and Rami, who were reporting the truth until the moment the Israeli military murdered them. In almost 300 days, the Israeli government has killed more than 160 journalists in Gaza. 🧵
