@LifeSciVC Agreed, the piece missing is overbuild was literally the plan. Lab space was over $100/ft2 NNN in KSq, up from $50 5 yrs prior. The plan was 2x the amount of lab space to decrease the cost. Now hearing TIAs increasing as more space comes online, have NNNs decreased as desired?

@MaverickNY @sciencescanner @AAMortazavi Lab space was 0.4% vacancy, going for $110 ft2 NNN and rising. A plan to make lab space more affordable by doubling square footage by 2026 was acted on. It’s now 2026. There is 17% vacancy, NNNs decreasing, TIs increasing. Isn’t this literally the plan?

@AlexHarding7 For abx, where there is a public good in limiting abuse, an alternative to OTC is pharmacists providing behind the counter meds based on the results of OTC tests for infections like strep, UTIs. Patients get out of the ED, relief faster, and it becomes a SKU stocking exercise.

Mary Brunkow, Fred Ramsdell and Shimon Sakaguchi have been awarded the 2025 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine for their groundbreaking discoveries concerning peripheral immune tolerance that prevents the immune system from harming the body.

The Nobel Prize laureates identified the immune system’s security guards, regulatory T cells, thus laying the foundation for a new field of research. The discoveries have also led to the development of potential medical treatments that are now being evaluated in clinical trials.

The hope is to be able to treat or cure autoimmune diseases, provide more effective cancer treatments and prevent serious complications after stem cell transplants.
