@Spicy_Parsnip Weird… I know Tesco dont work with Alex so I tend to use PayQwik in store and Pay at Pump for fuel. It’s very inconsistent 😒 Trial & error!

@Spicy_Parsnip That said many retailers don’t advertise it, and often checkout staff incorrectly assume £30 limit. I’ve educated many! 2/2

@Spicy_Parsnip A surprising number are these days. Amex support is limited (though improving) but Visa/MC is common now. 1/n

@Spicy_Parsnip It certainly does. Used Apple Pay on Watch yesterday for almost £200. No problem. Same behaviour as on iPhone.

@kelvinj That’s interesting; I’ve had a great Apple Pay experience, except with an Amex card. What happened for you? Errors? Staff issues?

@OliversSherbs Ah OK. LJ bizarrely don’t have contactless yet, but Waitrose do (and do it very well; all cards, plus Apple Pay high value!)

@sgreeve I know what you mean. Some work with Amex contactless but not Apple Pay, some take Amex, but not contactless OR Apple Pay. Crazy!

@sgreeve roll out Apple Pay fairly soon (expected Autumn) and send me my card! Should make things easier.

@djskylight Amex Apple Pay has a lot of issues, but there are lots more places: M&S, Pret, Moto, Waitrose, Any WorldPay Terminal (cafés etc)
