@imon00001 I’m unsure about the equity sales right now. Not so great monthly charts. I’m covered by ETFs and want to reduce volatility in LT account. I can always use leveraged indices to somewhat match the return or just buy back in.
Trimmed into extensions and raised from 8% -> ~40% cash today.
I will still suffer the pain tomorrow but less so. But it is possible to sometime be able to foresee this.
Everyday I watch for next fuckery around the corner. This morning was a validation of what I saw this time on Mon/Tue - failed breakouts.
Several showcased this character from open to close over last 3 days and more so heavily today. #1 signal to derisk for me.
There are several distribution signals to always watch for. May not always work but you’d be thankful to practice this especially on days like this.
✌️
Do you want to replay that day/week? We’ll see if you’d say the same. Trimming and/or selling into that kind of extension was the right call. Mark didn’t get back in is a different story. You are right too but pointing fingers for taking profits into that week when $MU had parabolic characteristics isn’t fair.
If you required leverage to outperform $SPY - well, you’re doing something wrong.
You could’ve held $SSO $SOXL $TQQQ and done better.
All well and good to use leverage but you need to earn the right to use it. I see too many finxers flaunting 100%+ YTD without stating the leverage. I’m proud to have performed 45% from 95% commons.
Be careful when you see leverage being pushed from finX, do it at your discretion. If you do want, use levered index ETFs - best bang for your risk.
$AKAM expanded its partnership with Nvidia to bring Akamai Guardicore Segmentation into NVIDIA’s DOCA software platform and Vera BlueField-4 STX storage architecture.
The goal is to add a Zero Trust security layer directly inside AI data center infrastructure without slowing GPUs, CPUs, or storage.
Akamai’s software maps how AI workloads communicate, while NVIDIA BlueField hardware enforces security policies at line speed.
Guardicore support with NVIDIA BlueField and DOCA is expected in 2H26, with Vera BlueField-4 STX integration planned for 1H27.
Note how $AKAM is the only notable name postive in software universe today.
$SNPS is another one but barely rn.
This RS is extremely validating to me. This will probably be my #1 to hold for a long stretch.
$AKAM is a good software name that can run and is yet to breakout. Good post earnings HTF.
Weekly working up right above 5EMA.
Nice tight risk entry point here.
@atxcap2622@Don7Spy Everyone has their style- you wouldn’t see Peter Lynch buy any of this shit today. Having said that - I’m full port for the “bubble” 🤣
The portfolio changes drastically every week.
Ideally, I like to have a levered long index position (coz you can’t catch every rotation). Have thematic ETFs as drivers along side individual theme performers (optionally levered).
So playing memory would look like $DRAM (commons + calls) $MU $SNDK (commons)
Software (like now) would be $IGV (commons + calls) $AKAM (commons)
Or individuals.
As for the cash question, I don’t focus as much on it actually. If I find enough plays that leads to no cash that’s okay. Size and trades depends on risk and setup.
So here w ~50% cash, you’re seeing a risk caution from my end. When cash is under 10%, I’m much more confident in the env and the trade setups. So cash levels fluctuate by itself. I’m not looking to build a % as an always cash position.
