actors are there to say “your script” (your script sucks throw it out)
Or actors write the movie for you via “Improvisation” (give them a writing credit and fire yourself as director)
Just make movies as a team and STFU
Quentin Tarantino says actors aren’t hired to rewrite scripts, they’re hired to deliver them.
“Actors aren't there to riff, they're there to say my dialogue, and if their riffing actually happens to be genius, I will just take credit for it”
“Uma Thurman once perfectly said that when actors improvise anything beyond basic filler words or cusses, that is called writing, and that is not what you hire an actor to do”
“The one exception is Samuel L. Jackson because he is a terrific writer in character who knows how his roles should talk, but he still loves tackling my exact words”
This Earthbound interview from 1994 with writer-developers Shigesato Itoi and Hajime Kimura (Metal Max) looks at questions of perspective, immersion, and what it means to be a game designer. https://t.co/Wps5pxEJsT

Edmund what do you think of SD cards as a format for totally boutique style format for the physical enthusiasts, actual long term solution (sorry I don’t understand why DISCS are the important thing for people) ? I’m wondering why I haven’t seen it yet… I’d be interested in serialized version of a digital copy via the format if it accompanied a good artbook (something that actually has value on a shelf?)
I collect physical media and will always find a way to release my games physically.
The fact is, if mainstream publishers stop, independent boutique publishers will continue making collectors editions that will be way better anyway.
That is till next gen consoles are digital only…
PSA for anyone whose buying Infamous 1 on the PS3 store or physically
There is a FREE DLC power that will be gone forever after the store shuts down, the Gigawatt Blades!

Extremely sad to think I'll never release another physical game for PlayStation. Releasing the physical versions of Animal Well was a huge motivator all throughout development. It really kills my desire to develop for the platform. I'm hoping they reverse this decision : (
@ShankMods The “physical” part being the downloaded data on their hard drives works great… I think people need to realize a CD is literally a type of hard drive … their is nothing physical beyond the data being not on the console
I’m happy to announce the release of a new open source 3D physics engine called Box3D. I’ve been working on this project for a few years now, but it represents over 20 years of experience writing physics engines for games. Read more here: https://t.co/2d9aVuUsxj

Would y’all say the qualities of a proper drug dealer (or a legal businessperson) begins with paying attention to quality control?
Because All I see is a a hands-on supervisor, using his workers' input, addressing customer complaints, and getting his hands dirty.🔥🤔
This year really feels like the end for traditional gaming. Consoles less affordable, layoffs galore and now physical media on PlayStation is dead. Really hard to feel any excitement for any new consoles given this - I'm sure plenty of you don't care, but it matters a lot to me.
