@iasupport I am indeed fortunate as I see no ‘down side’ to having my stoma. I am free to go out whenever I want, not when illness allows, with renewed self confidence as a result of being in control. Yes I have made some adjustments to my diet, but I still enjoy a range of different foods.

@Coloplast_UK Parkgate Shopping Centre to order a new bed, the day after I came out of hospital, and I had the biggest ice cream available as I hadn’t been able to partake of ‘unplanned’ eating for soooooo long!!!! My second trip out, three weeks post op, was to a stoma day at Newby Hall!

@LBC I have rheumatoid arthritis and take between 4 and 8 paracetamols a day. I don’t mind being asked to pay if that is what is necessary, but over the counter at my local shop, I can buy only 8 at a time, on prescription, I can get 28 days.
