I love that David Bowie's and Brian May's reactions were captured when Annie Lennox gives it everything, and that George Michael singing along in the back! Fantastic video and the very best music.
Queen, David Bowie & Annie Lennox - Under Pressure (Rehearsals, April 1992)
Tonight, the western sky becomes a cosmic stage. 🌌✨
As the Sun slips below the horizon, three planets — brilliant Venus, mighty Jupiter, and elusive Mercury — will appear aligned in a rare celestial lineup visible to the naked eye.
For a brief window after sunset, the planets will glow across the twilight sky like suspended lanterns, creating one of the most beautiful planetary alignments of the year. No telescope needed — just clear skies and a view toward the west. 🌙🪐
Sometimes the solar system reminds us how small we are…
and how beautiful the universe can be. ✨

These are 1000 times brighter than Earth's, powered by its giant magnetic field and sulfur ions from Io's volcanoes. Real NASA ESA Hubble STIS data.

At first glance, it looks like a breathtaking abstract painting — swirling brushstrokes of cream, gold, and deep crimson. But it’s not paint. These are real, raging storms on Jupiter, the largest planet in our Solar System. Captured in stunning detail by NASA’s Juno spacecraft as it skimmed just above the cloud tops. What you’re seeing are colossal vortices of gas, some wide enough to swallow Earth whole, spinning at ferocious speeds through an atmosphere that has no solid surface below. Just endless layers of churning hydrogen and helium. The vivid colors, hypnotic textures, and intricate patterns are sculpted by forces beyond imagination — on a world where these storms have been raging for centuries. This isn’t art. This is another planet… alive, violent, and mesmerizing. One follow = endless cosmic wonders. Join us for more jaw-dropping space discoveries

Two years ago today was some of the best lightning I've ever captured in #Pittsburgh. All of these are single images, not composites, and it was incredible to see Mother Nature put on a show. The one of the bolt right behind the stadium is definitely a favorite.
