after spending a solo few days roadtripping the oregon coast, i so deeply wish there was a diverse coastal city there so I could move. I love DC, but being on the coast made me feel so much more connected to the myself and my spirituality.
@Timafi2@DrakeKeeler so much more attention and scrutiny. they used to post on tiktok a lot, so fans formed (wildly inappropriate) parasocial relationships with them. now that they have a massive following the media is capitalizing on that for their content. i feel so bad for them
@Timafi2@DrakeKeeler I don’t think that it’s viewed as a problem, but what’s different here is that Azzi and Paige are SO visible and have large fan bases online. When D and Penny were playing, there wasn’t social media like today. I don’t agree with this at all btw, but that’s why they’re getting

No one knows you. No one has a story about who you are. No one is waiting for you to be the person you were yesterday. You're just a stranger in a chair by the window, watching a city that doesn't need anything from you.
It's the feeling that anything could happen. That the world is bigger than the walls you built around yourself back home. That the life you've been living is just one version of a life, and there are others, and they're not as far away as you thought.
At home, you're fixed. Known. You fit into a shape that other people recognize, and after a while, you forget you're even in a shape at all. But here, alone, somewhere new, the shape dissolves. You could be anyone. You could be more of yourself than you've ever been. No one is watching to see if you stay consistent.
i need to stop getting extraordinarily lit at the lesbian bar and picking up girls saying i’ll take them out, bc 9 times out of 10 i wake up to realize i was seeing thru my drunk goggles
