@texasholdup@RichardAngwin What if it were hitler? Would you have “lost your humanity” if you didn’t save him? Your black and white understanding of morality has no room for nuance. Politics aside, some people simply make the world a worse place.
@swizzy071@AnxiousHolly I mean, these people have some truly awful home screens man. It’s like drawing on a Louis Vuitton bag with marker. Yeah, it’s technically theirs, but it’s disrespectful to the design and looks super tacky.
@AgileJebrim@BayouBikeyBoi I get it man, you don’t like the culture of Austin. That’s fine. Everybody knows it’s a black sheep. But I’m not sure how much of an inbred fucking hick you’d have to be to actually believe that Fort Worth is more culturally relevant to America as a whole.
@AgileJebrim@BayouBikeyBoi Ok, on average, most Americans think about Austin significantly more than Fort Worth. I mean, the person who made the map felt the need to put Austin on there, but not Fort Worth. What does that tell you?
@AgileJebrim@BayouBikeyBoi I mean, you can try to rationalize it all you want. If you went up to 100 random people on the street and asked them to list 3 cities in Texas, most of them will name Austin before Fort Worth. It’s just not that important of a city culturally, even if it’s technically bigger.
@AgileJebrim@BayouBikeyBoi Austin might be smaller, but it’s waaaaaay more culturally relevant. Nobody gives a fuck about Fort Worth other than the people who live there.
@CopiedCold@MS06ZAKU_II The state of the windows app is honestly inexcusable for a 4 trillion dollar company. It literally does not even work half the time. I’m not talking about niche features, I’m talking simply playing music. It doesn’t work. I would rather them not make a windows app at all.
@DurvidImel@durreadan01 Whoops have been out for a while. It’s not like Google had to rush the air out of the door to compete. They thought this app was in an acceptable state. They haven’t fixed it because they don’t believe it’s broken. This is just what their best foot forward looks like. Pathetic.
@nofearferret@SnazzyLabs@BasedMikeLee It’s sad and important if you’re a specific kind of Christian. Wow, it’s almost like the denominations of Christianity have been disagreeing for so long that term “Christian” has become so broad it’s almost meaningless.
