Doctoral researcher @ University of East Anglia School of Social Work/CRCF. Exploring experiences of infant contact/Family Time in Early Permanence. She/Her.
Does this apply to you? Or are you able to spread the word to those that it may apply to? I'm looking for around 10 more young people to take part in my research. #phdchat#AcademicChatter#qualitative methods #CRmethods
I’m still looking to speak to one or two more birth/first parents about their experience of contact in Early Permanence (Foster to Adopt/concurrency) placements. If you would be willing to speak to me, or know anyone who might, please do get in touch and I can provide more info.
Copson et al studied digital tech in child welfare practice. Older kids had more ease/comfort with it. Lack of wifi or enabled devices, child age, decreased touch/physical handling affected child, parent, caregiver ability to interact. @SAGEPsychology.

I am currently recruiting parents who have had a child adopted via Early Permanence. If you know of anyone who may be willing to be interviewed, please do share this with them and I can give them further information. If you are a parent yourself, please do get in touch.
Just to clarify that I’m currently looking to speak specifically to birth/first parents (mothers and fathers). Thank you for all the likes and retweets!

We used national data and surveyed/interviewed managers to find out how regulations about long term foster care are being implemented.
This week we will be joined by @georgia_philip, a lecturer at @swkuea to talk about her recent collaboration.
There's still time to book your place: https://t.co/lWUBXziahr

Well done to our very own @ca55ian for leading the first seminar. Thought provoking research with male victims of intimate partner abuse. Podcast will follow later in 2022. In the meantime you can sign up to the rest of the seminar series with @CRCF1
@LornaHunt20 Thanks Lorna. It was a pleasure to be involved and to highlight some of the current research in this area, particularly from @prof_beth_neil Great to get feedback from panel members and SW’s and think how this can all be put into practice.
Good to see Early Permanence in the media, with a story that highlights how some babies return to birth family and others go on to be adopted - a reminder that EP is and always should be child focused, but comes with challenges for all involved. https://t.co/uKt60yKJKZ
Our new practice guide on 'Moving children to adoption' is published https://t.co/M2Z4tf3fyq
