@dieterd64 How about every population that at anytime during history ever owned and traded slaves, paying all the other populations that were enslaved? How does that math work out?
@Molaau6@Tedmarsgoi2 WRONG. He is strong enough right now. Just uncoordinated. Eventually, he will accidentally find that coordination and use that retard strength and snap her neck.
@igarglewithfire Once asked this of a Sgt. Major at a Marine base during an inbrief. The answer was to sit down and shut up. Supposedly this never happens. The answer later given to me by an E6 was at least one party is "less" drunk and that is usually the man, so be smart and dont chance it.
@itslunara0z She doesn't have to. Thats the whole point most conservatives have been trying to make but were always too scared due to fears of being labeled racist. Black people in the US are just Americans of another hue. Nothing more, nothing less. They are about as african as I am nordic.
Was it though? I mean the Cornell thing. What made it disgusting? Thats the most important thing to note. Who do you think was the most responsible for it happeneing? Have any of you commenting on this even taken the time to read the police report and what she had to say about it?
Been raising my hand, but that is just feel good theatrics. The sobering truth is this; so long as the establishment GOP remains in power, nothing will change. They are no more than democrats in elephant clothing. Just as most democrats are just Republicans in ass clothing. Two sides of the same coin.
Yep. But that wouldn't change a thing. The other reason why they are built the way they are, is to increase the amount of passengers that can fit on the plane. More peoplle equals more money. However, since flight is a careful balancing act, more people also means more weight, which equals more fuel to get up in the air and stay there.
so long as congress approves and disapproves things, this will never happen. Yes tech is here that could do this, but like all things tech, its open to corruption from outside sources. This is why paper hand counted ballots are far more secure than electronically. But even that has flaws and can be corrupted. No system is perfect and free from abuse, but we dont need to make it easier either. Thats the difference between locking a door and leaving it unlocked. Yes a dedicated person can still break the lock, but it takes time and more effort than leaving it wide open. Its about deterrence and buying time. So while it sounds like a good idea, it has flaws. I would say it also allows low IQ uninformed people access to making important decisions, but have you seen congress?
There are better solutions. We can do better. Increased representation is not the answer. In fact, I would say abolish the House and increase the senate to three senators per state. For every state you get one vote as decided by the triad of each state. No ties with three and no vote in abstentia or present. Must vote and make a decision, either up or down. This cures a lot of problems. It decreases the payroll. In addition, each senator is only allowed one staff member and they must be selected to run on their ticket with them for election. That way we get the dirt on the candidate and their selected running mate. Again. Decrease in payroll. Any staff beyond the single assistant, is paid for by the Senator themselves from their own pocket. NO OUTSIDE funding sources for that staff. And finally term limits. 2, 6 year terms. Total of 12 years and must serve all 12 years to qualify for lifetime pension.
One other thing to add, any Congressional pay raises must meet a 2/3rds majority of registered voters of the entire US electorate. Congress is only paid if budgetary measures are met. If the country runs out of cash and the government is shut down, then Congress forgoes a prorated pay during that time. Same goes for vacations. A prorated portion of their pay is deducted for time off that exceeds the national standard for a full time job. 2 weeks a year and a set amount of national holiday days, with earned sick time. If the average Joe has to live with this, then our representatives must also. Any out of country travel by any congress member must meet executive approval. No more senators going to Ukraine to broker backroom deals behind the presidents back.
How does this all get enacted? Convention of states. Its in the constitution to make the necessary changes to bring Congress to heel when needed. If there has ever been a time needed for this, its now. There are no more radicals that will do the job for us. Money is too strong of a motivator that has corrupted everyone. So long as that remains, there is nothing to be done to persuade a change in representation behaviors. So we have to do it ourselves. Thats what our fore fathers left for us. An escape hatch that we can use to right the ship.
Carnegie Mellon is now in full-on panic mode.
They're deleting posts. Turning off replies.
All because they won't hold their racist professor accountable.
Stop hiding, @CarnegieMellon. She needs to go, now.
