Gold Star wife here.
When ISIS killed your wife, you supported going after the people responsible. You understood exactly why we were fighting and never called it “Israel’s war.”
My husband, Alan, was killed by Iranian proxies in Iraq. And now, after decades, the fight is finally leading back to the number one state sponsor of terrorism in the world.
You understood it when it was your loss. Now you’re minimizing it when it’s mine.
You don’t get to redefine this war just because it’s not your grief anymore.
Jordan was “fucking furious,” a former minister with friends in Amman says. “The Emiratis, Kuwaitis, and even the Canadians are all asking, ‘What the fuck are you doing? Whose side are you on?’” The Emiratis pointed out that Britain was failing to help protect the 240,000 British citizens living in Dubai and Abu Dhabi….Instead, some military assets were withdrawn. “The Cypriots are incandescent.”
I can't comment on every single act of antizionism and anti-Jewish hatred, but I must say, what Spike Lee did during the @NBA All-Star Game was one of the more deplorable things I've seen in a long time.
Sadly, though, it was very on-brand for the Palestinian movement. Indeed, Spike didn't wear a Palestinian outfit to celebrate a Palestinian player. Rather, he wore it with the soul-purpose of signalling to the only Jewish player that he isn't welcome. This is the very ethos of Palestinianism. It's not about love, celebration, and a shared future. Instead, it revolves around hatred, demonization, and returning to a past now long gone.
But in my mind, this isn't about Palestinians. It's about a young Jewish man who has spent his entire life mastering his craft, only to have the symbols of his slaughterers visible in the front row of his first All-Star Game. It's absolutely disgusting and I really hope that one day, these despicable acts of bigotry come to an end — it’s got to stop.
Just another example of how widespread and out in the open American antisemitism is today.
Also, @JoeDaActivist , if you’re gonna broadcast your hate for Jews, don’t be a coward and delete it, leave it up.
Oh, and the Jews you were disgusted by, a father and son (a friend of mine) who traveled to the game from the east coast, figured they could go watch their favorite team play in the Super Bowl without being photographed and subjected to hate because they’re Jews. I guess they were wrong.
This is one of the most beautiful moments you will ever witness.
Sir Nicholas Winton helped 669 children — most of them Jewish — escape the Holocaust.
His humanitarian accomplishments would remain unknown and unnoticed by the world for nearly 50 years.
Then in 1988 he was invited to the BBC TV show That's Life!.
There he sat — unknowingly — as part of the studio audience, surrounded by the children he had rescued. They were now adults.
Then they surprised him with one of the greatest gifts of all time. Their presence.
They were there, all alive — because of him.
Not only was he reunited with dozens of children he had saved, but he was also introduced to many of their children and grandchildren.
Please remember Sir Nicholas Winton, for his humanitarian operation known as the Czech Kindertransport.
Sir Nicholas George Winton, a British stockbroker, and a gift to this planet, left us on July 1, 2015, at the age of 106.
May his memory forever be a blessing and inspiration to all.
Please share. International Holocaust Day cannot be forgotten. But many are working to make that happen.🕯️♥️
This is Ran Gvili, the last hostage in Gaza 🎗️
On October 7, as terrorists stormed Israel, Ran grabbed his gear and ran out the door even though he had an injured shoulder. He was due for surgery two days later. His father asked how he could fight like that. Ran lifted his arm slightly, said “See, I’m fine,” and went to join the battle.
Ran served in an elite police counter-terror unit. At the Alumim Junction, soldiers warned his team not to go further because hundreds of terrorists were ahead. In an exchange of fire, Ran and his commander chased a Hamas vehicle to a gas station where Nova festival survivors were hiding. They treated the wounded and helped evacuate around 150 people.
After that rescue, Ran insisted on returning to the junction where fighting continued. Police later told his family that dozens of terrorists were found dead around him. He fought until his ammunition was gone, before he was captured and taken into Gaza, badly wounded and unconscious. The army later announced that Ran had died in captivity.
His mother shared his photo with these words: “The first one to head out, the last one to come back. We won’t stop until you’re home.”
The story of a miracle: Surgeons at Israel's Hadassah Medical Center in Jerusalem have performed a life-saving surgery on Suleiman Hassan, a 12-year-old Palestinian boy from the West Bank, in which they successfully reattached his head after a devastating car accident that left him internally decapitated. He was airlifted to the hospital's trauma unit and has since been discharged. Suleiman's father said of the Israeli doctors: "I will thank you all my life for saving my dear only son. Bless you all." 💙🇮🇱🩺

Yossi, 655 days have passed since that cursed day, and only now has the time come to bury you with honor in the Land of Israel.
During all the time we spent together in captivity, we shared so many experiences from our travels around the world, discovered many common passions, and imagined how we would leave Gaza, return to our families, and fulfill all our dreams.
You told me about your amazing family, who later became my family too. You told me about Nira and your daughters, and you always spoke of them with such admiration. From your stories, I couldn’t wait to meet them.
You told me about your brothers, sisters, and your mother, and you promised that as soon as we returned you would bring me the famous jachnun that everyone waits for every Saturday.
But in a single moment, just as the house we were in exploded, all those dreams vanished.
That day will stay with me until my last. I will never understand why, why I am here and you are not.
The three of us sat side by side, you, Itay, and me, and now I stand in the cemetery in Be’eri where both of you are buried in the ground.
I tried everything to save you, Yossi, but it was already too late. I am so sorry.
Thank you for the time we shared, for being by my side through the hardest moments, and for holding me when I broke down. Thank you for teaching me what humility and unity truly mean.
I promise to carry forward your spirit and your path for the rest of my life.
Thank you for everything.
Zohran Mamdani claimed his hijab-wearing aunt stopped riding NYC subways after 9/11 due to anti-Muslim fear. Records confirm aunt Masuma lived in Tanzania (2000-2003) as a program officer for AMREF and does not wear a hijab. This discrepancy indicates the emotional anecdote was fabricated to emphasize perceived Muslim victimhood over the attack's actual toll by Islamist extremists.
