A3: My students might hate it. I might revert back to marks out of habit/comfort. I may not be able to satisfy inspection requirements. I might get push back from parents for being non-traditional. I could go on...suffice it to say, for me, this is not playing it safe!! #cohort21

A2: I jumped in and am trying a one-point rubric in one of my classes. I think that discussions with students will be key. My hope is to plan a unit in my Careers course that utilizes this style for the entire thing.

A1 (cont'd): It matters to me because I hate seeing kids so stressed out and seemingly unable to help themselves. If I can deliver content/assess in a way that is less stressful, why wouldn't I? The hope is that I can help build coping skills in tandem.

@awalker066 @teach_tomorrow I was leaning in this direction too but my interviews shifted me somewhere different - to try and reduce the stress so they are in a space where this becomes a realistic option for them...but I agree that they need to do more wrt wellness.

A1: these days, tbh it doesn't always feel like much is working. Love teaching gr 12 - it's my fave - but I'm really feeling the pinch right now when their marks aren't where they'd like them to be. Are they ever? #cohort21
