It is so rare as to be shocking in recent years to see a straight White man as the hero!
(Not counting movies based on comic books created last century or made by Tom Cruise)
Elderly man arrested in Britain for “causing anxiety” with a social media post. This is insane.
Thank God there is a constitutional right to freedom of speech in America!
@EoinKeary@Mullins77David@john_mcguirk@DavQuinn Nor really.. we're given a group of wankers to vote for and there not much between them.. not enough independents either to make a difference 🤯 but that's the way they want it...

This is the post my friend put up today tallaght village is so unsafe at the moment and absolutely Notting being done about its getting worse everyday 😭😭
I received this from a stay-at-home mother and carer. I am putting it up here just as I received it, no edits. I’d ask as many people as possible to read it and share it.
‘I am a stay at home mother, I am also a carer(the unpaid kind). My husband earns over the wage bracket so I don't qualify for carer's allowance. For 15 plus years my children have been my whole world and all of my energy has been focused on them. My first child has some complex medical issues that meant I needed to be at home. Over the past fifteen years I've engaged with speech therapists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, audiologists, various consultants of differing disciplines, psychiatrists, educational welfare officers and special education needs officers.I've educated myself on all the challenges my child faces or will face in the future. I have done parenting courses and specific courses related to my child's needs so that I can understand and be a better advocate for my child.
When I was a younger woman I've no doubt that I would have railed against the idea of "a woman's duties in the home" clause being in the constitution (had I been aware of it) but having lived that experience I see it differently now. The fact is I am a woman and I am in the home and I do have duties like we all do when we are part of a family and share a home. The constitution states"that by her life within the home, woman gives to the state a support without which the common good cannot be achieved" That's incredible recognition given to women for the work they do in the home and for unpaid carer's like me it's the only recognition they're likely to get. Yes, the language is somewhat old fashioned and trite but the meaning inferred from it is tremendous. So I will definitely be voting No to its removal.
I have no regrets about the decision I made 15 years ago and everything I have done has been with love and determination to help my child succeed in a world that wasn't made with them in mind. This article doesn't hold women back, it gives them a choice. It has never stopped any woman from doing anything she wants whether that's being a stay at home mom or the president of the country.
In regards to article 41.2, as a carer I will be unequivocally voting No. Carer's up and down the country are tired of broken promises and vacuous soundbites from government mouthpieces. Carer's have lived with the outcome of these broken promises from the hse and the state. Every carer knows the soul crushing disappointment when they get yet another letter asking if they really, really, really want that appointment they've been waiting 3 years for. And if you complain you're penalised, appointments are cancelled and prescriptions are withheld. If the government really valued carer's they would sort out our dysfunctional health service, they would stop the inhumane and cruel practice of mean's testing carer's allowance. Why is my value and worth as a carer based on my husband's earnings? Where's my autonomy as an individual? Why is there no value given to the person being cared for?
The constitution states: "The State shall, therefore, endeavour to ensure that mothers shall not be obliged by economic necessity to engage in labour to the neglect of their duties in the home" Again old fashioned language but a hell of a lot stronger than "strive to support" This new wording puts the onus of care entirely on the family and absolves the state of all responsibility, it also devalues the person being cared for and confers no rights to an independent autonomous life. It has no teeth. It will change nothing for carer's, the vast majority of them being women. But I really have to give the government some kudos, they have managed to come up with two constitutional wordings that are genuinely worse than doing nothing. Not an easy thing to do. So I would ask people to reflect on who we are as a people, do we value our most vulnerable or do we measure a person's value on whether they increase our GDP. I call on the government to scrap this referendum and put your money where your mouth is and ratify the Un charter on rights for people with disabilities. Do the right thing.’

Professor of Oncology at St George's Hospital Medical School, London: "At the end of last year I reported that I was seeing melanoma patients who had been stable for years relapse after their first booster (their third injection). I was told it was merely a coincidence and to keep quiet about it, but it became impossible to do so. The number of my patients affected has been rising ever since. I saw two more cases of cancer relapse post booster vaccination in my patients just this last week.
Other oncologists have contacted me from all over the world including from Australia and the US. The consensus is that it is no longer confined to melanoma but that increased incidence of lymphomas, leukaemias and kidney cancers is being seen after booster injections. Additionally my colorectal cancer colleagues report an epidemic of explosive cancers (those presenting with multiple metastatic spread in the liver and elsewhere). All these cancers are occurring (with very few exceptions) in patients who have been forced to have a Covid booster whether they were keen or not, for many so they could travel.
So why are these cancers occurring? T cell suppression was my first likely explanation given that immunotherapy is so effective in these cancers. However we must also now consider DNA plasmid and SV40 integration in promoting cancer development, a feature made even more concerning by reports that mRNA spike protein binds p53 and other cancer suppressor genes. It is very clear and very frightening that these vaccines have several elements to cause a perfect storm in cancer development in those patients lucky enough to have avoided heart attacks, clots, strokes, autoimmune diseases and other common adverse reactions to the Covid vaccines.
To advise booster vaccines, as is the current case, is no more and no less than medical incompetence; to continue to do so with the above information is medical negligence which can carry a custodial sentence.
No ifs or buts any longer. All mRNA vaccines must be halted and banned now." Angus Dalgleish
It's time we have a serious conversation about Ukrainians driving on Irish roads.
If we are forced to pay for tax, insurance and NCT under threat of imprisonment then foreigners should have to pay too.
Enough of this two tiered Ireland where Irish come last.
