Jesus didn’t just teach/preach. He led by example, called people to be with Him, and walked with them as they “learned obedience.” Anything less isn’t making disciples!
@Marika2me@MikeWingerii So, you’re qualified to post this? You know Mike? You have evidence that he created exponentially more victims, or are you being presumptuous?
@MrSaneApps@MikeWingerii I think you’re arguing against yourself. He never gave a definition of sovereign, and neither view means God controls everything.
Dear President Trump, Thomas Sowell is an American treasure. Please consider honoring him with the Presidential Medal of Freedom. I can’t think of a greater representative of American values.
@Joel7Richardson Only when promised to not serve in Military and be supported by the state did the Orthodox agree to the nation. I say again, reluctantly. /end
@Joel7Richardson I agree. I’m interested in your response to this… i sent this to a friend, his response
My conviction:
If you believe God still has earthly Kingdom plans for Israel this is even in a Dispensational sense still not accurate. /1
@Joel7Richardson The Modern Nation of Israel is a secular state. It is nothing like the theocracy of ancient Biblical Israel. The Modern Nation builders wanted the Orthodox Jews to be in favor of a state. They were not. /2
@AmericanTorah It could be that. OR, it could be that I have considered Torahism at length, and find it illogical, mixing of covenants, and unfaithful to New Testament teaching. I’m not conceding anything, only pointing to the logical inconsistency of your position. 🤷🏽♂️
@AmericanTorah I hope you don’t think you’re bringing some new teaching. If you are it’s heresy. Just because I have listened to what you teach doesn’t mean I don’t know what you teach. There may be nuance but it’s nothing new. Just like you assume (stated or not) you know what I believe.
@AmericanTorah 1. “That's an invention of men who don't want to keep God's commandments.” How did I twist your words? The OP had to do with Sabbath keeping.
2. You’ll notice a question mark at the end of the statement. Maybe the grammar was off, but I’m not accusing of anything.
@AmericanTorah To be clear, Torahism or Hebrew Roots, or whatever you’d like to call it, isn’t new. It’s actually the circumcision movement, the apostle Paul was consistently refuting, repackaged. What I don’t get is why y’all seem so clear on the Sabbath and yet miss this clear NT issue. 🤷🏽♂️
@AmericanTorah I could share with you most, if not all, of what you’d offer. But, you accuse men of not wanting to keep God’s commandments because no apostle made Sabbath keeping binding.🤔 somehow, embracing the New Covenant, a salvation by grace, not Torah+Jesus is wrong? Christ is enough!
@AmericanTorah So, what you’re saying is you don’t have a verse that clearly states sabbath keeping is binding upon followers of Messiah? I’m not being sarcastic here. I’m just very familiar with everything that you’ve offered.
@JustinBerkobien I think it’s ignorant to believe two things can’t be true at the same time. Jesus’ command for us to love our enemies is directed at other image bearers. Understanding the history of Islam will also confirm your statement is not piety, meekness, or lowliness, but something else.
@suffici3ntgrace@jdgreear@howertonjosh Such harsh words! I assume you have receipts of the false gospel he preaches, his abuse of the church, his immorality, his greed, or the like? 🤔
