Since every Final Fantasy 7 Remake game is designed with the prior game in mind, there's a good chance we might get some kind of Final Fantasy 7 Remerged with all parts in one game around 2029/2030.

And seriously, I think no JRPG will be able to compete with that ever again.

If you want a similar game like E33, try Lost Odyssey.
It's basically the "real" Final Fantasy 12.

@Tectone I think Final Fantasy 7 is an awesome experience overall, but entries like 6 or 10 have better stories.

But if you play 7, start with the original.
Then Crisis Core and then the remakes.
They're basically sequels.
