A question:
More than 30 Christians have just been murdered in Nigeria by Islamist gangs. Yesterday, a mass burial was held.

Eleven of the victims were Christian children - butchered with machetes.

So why doesn't @BBCNews (or the rest ofUK media) want to tell you about it?

This is truly one of the most insane cases the FSU has seen in our six-year history.

A retired police officer who gave 30 years of public service to his community had a knock at the door after his neighbour complained about some posts he had reposted on Facebook.

In April, Stephen was found guilty by a district judge over one of these posts — unsurprisingly, the one about Islam — of sending a “grossly offensive” communication, an offence under Section 127 of the Communications Act 2003.

The Facebook post featured an image of a rasher of bacon and a man in a turban, accompanied by the text: “Fun facts about bacon! People who eat bacon have a lower chance of marrying a 9 year old!”

While giving evidence, Stephen explained that the post was a reference to the marriage between the Prophet Mohammed and Aisha, which was consummated, according to traditional Islamic sources, when she was nine years old, after he married her when she was six.

But the district judge wasn’t having any of it. Stephen was ordered to pay £1,100 in fines, plus legal costs and now has a criminal conviction.

The Free Speech Union is supporting Stephen in appealing his conviction.

The Government introduced an official definition of Islamophobia — repackaged as “anti-Muslim hostility” — which has had a chilling effect on free speech.

Since its publication in March, the definition has been weaponised — as the FSU warned it would be — to silence those who legitimately criticise, debate, challenge or mock Islam. It amounts to a de facto Islamic blasphemy law.

The FSU exposed that all five members of the Working Group tasked by Angela Rayner, the then — and now newly reappointed — Communities Secretary, with drafting the definition had troubling links to Islamist organisations. These included the Muslim Council of Britain and MEND, organisations with which successive governments have adopted policies of non-engagement due to their extremist views.

It has now been revealed that the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government deleted all the responses to the Working Group’s five-week Call for Evidence.

This is shocking. It means the Government has effectively reintroduced Britain’s blasphemy laws 18 years after Parliament voted to abolish them — for Islam alone — and then deleted the evidence that would allow the process to be properly scrutinised.

The public will rightly have questions. The lack of transparency is alarming.

Was there ministerial direction to delete these responses? If so, which minister gave it? What have they got to hide? And could Islamist extremists really have been allowed to help draft this new, state-sponsored Islamic blasphemy law?

Serious questions must be answered.

As news breaks of Jeremy Farrar's resignation from the WHO, here is a reminder that The Wellcome Trust, the UK charity led by Farrar in 2020/2021, "supported' the fraudulent Proximal Origins paper, funded the infamous Imperial College London 'lockdown until vaccination paper', benefitted to the tune of hundreds of millions of pounds from direct investments into pharmaceutical companies including Covid vaccine manufacturers AND ALSO paid millions of pounds in research grants to key UK scientists sitting on the influential SAGE committee. Only a handful of those funding relationships were ever declared by the relevant scientists.

Oh yes, I nearly forgot. Sir Jeremy was also described as the 'father figure' of Proximal Origins in testimony given by one of the co-authors of the report to a 2024 US congressional report, as well as having played a key role in orchestrating and drafting the paper.

The BBC's coverage of the Jason Arday scandal is something of a scandal itself. The corporation spent years uncritically promoting the myth of Arday.

Prior to July 2026, the broadcaster produced at least 11 radio programmes (totalling nearly six hours of Arday content), four news articles, and two TV interviews championing the academic and repeating his false claims.

When the initial story broke about his plagiarism and lies, the BBC doubled down on its defence of the academic.
