Morning! I’ve just begun my most ambitious challenge yet: to travel on all Train Operating Companies in Great Britain within 33 hours. Is it even possible? We’ll find out! Updates as and when I can make them. First up: Eurostar 9007 from Paris to London! #TOCMarathon @railway200

Ok… #TOCMarathon 11:15 update!
After a 18-minute setback when the 09:10 Stansted Express from Liverpool Street was cancelled I have - somehow - managed to claw back the deficit! Now on the Gatwick Express out of Victoria, my 8th TOC. Back on track!

One of the highlights of my 7 years are the wonderful people I've met. It was so fitting to share my last shift with Ed, one of our HH drivers from Bristol. I couldn't have asked for better company on my final drive. Thanks Ed

Very few get to see the Jubilee line tunnels beyond Charing Cross up close, so it was a great privilege to be able to experience it. Made all the more interesting thanks to the very knowledgable and engaging guides who gave a variety of presentations to all on board the train!

Safe to say I had a very memorable & enjoyable morning: A special tour celebrating 10 years of #HiddenLondon tours by @ltmuseum, with a wander round the disused Jubilee line platforms at Charing Cross, and a trip on a 96 stock train down the overrun tunnels under the Strand too!

@HughSnape Aha! Not me personally (I don't sign the traction or the route!) and I'm going to be spending a lot of time at Westbury over the next few weeks as well as learning new routes in the area!
