@hecubian_devil genuinely had to pull a friend out of queer theory circles because theyd convinced themselves they were nothing more than kindling for some future revolution. dark stuff
@TNOQuoProQuid its really bad the various health nuts have convinced people to not do newborn vitamin k injections but i think its a genuine problem the injections carry a black box warning. having doctors say this medicine is completely safe when the medicine itself says its dangerous is bad
@yaghsizian the inflation rate is based on a basket of goods for a hypothetical family, its not representative of the dollar being worth less at the same rate for all goods. beef in particular has gotten more expensive and we had a period of competitive wages

@Chinchillazllla its a little different when the government is paying for it rather than individuals, but thats more of an argument for a fully government-run system
@BattyWanderer@JustEvilBrad the newer god of wars are themselves pretty unique with their no obvious cuts rule so you cant really say theyre the standard
@offbeatorbit the bizarre tea party conservative radio host who my childhood school board hired as superintendent before kicking his incompetent ass out with a golden parachute is undersecretary of defense and im constantly jumpscared by him

@MariGO2thepolls@JeremiahDJohns i kinda like using it as a way to get people who havent really considered why people gravitate towards certain political stances to start thinking about it, but you definitely cant reason too much from it
@AntonHand outward does this well, the map marks most big landmarks but with generic names and it doesnt show you where you are on the map, so you have to navigate based on those landmarks
