🔹The same day, pregnant Palestinian Iman Shalouf and her unborn child, Ayoub, died from wounds sustained when Israeli forces shot her south of Khan Younis three days earlier. Nine more Palestinians, including children, were wounded in a separate Israeli attack in Khan Younis today.

🔹Gaza’s Health Ministry said hospitals received the bodies of 10 killed Palestinians and treated 56 wounded people over the past 48 hours. Since the October 11 ceasefire, Israeli forces have killed at least 1,369 Palestinians and wounded 4,627, while 831 bodies have been recovered. Other victims remain under rubble and on roads beyond rescuers’ reach.

💢 BREAKING: Five-year-old Wafaa Yusuf Akilah went to school on Sunday. It was her first day of the year. Israel killed her before she made it home.

An Israeli drone struck the vehicle carrying Wafaa and her father, Yusuf, near Hamid Junction in western Gaza City, killing them both without warning, witnesses told Drop Site.

In photographs, Wafaa smiles in her blue school uniform and gives a thumbs-up. At the site of the strike, her school books lay open atop the burned wreckage. Her small body lay face down in the street.

Footage captured by Drop Site contributor Abdel Qader Sabbah shows two men holding pieces of her hair.

“This is all that’s left, world,” one says. “What truce are you talking about?”

The center said he has injuries to his head, face, chest and left eye while being denied medical care. It described the abuse as part of a wider pattern against imprisoned Palestinian health workers, including beatings, starvation and isolation, and called for an independent investigation and urgent UN, Red Cross and WHO intervention.
