It was lovely to catch the Thao Nguyen Phan exhibition at @Tate_StIves before it closes, what a beautiful and varied show! We also caught @Tr14ersOfficial performing their dance piece inspired by the Sol LeWitt installation 🤩
@_clairenglish@cornwallmp @_smitheleanor @PhilJones___ Definitely a big thankyou to @_smitheleanor and @PhilJones___@cornwallmp for the fun afternoon learning how to 3D scan and how to us VR. Thank you also for highlighting how digital technology can be used in museums and myth busting some of the barriers for us.
Thank you to Claire @kresenkernow and your volunteers for showing us how we can look after our collections for less. Thank you also for giving us so many useful tips in our handouts - really kind and thoughtful. #kresenkernow#craftyarchiveconservation
Thank you to Chloe @kresenkernow for taking us on a tour around the home of our Cornish archives - a fantastic facility to have in Redruth. Chloe your tour was great and really informative.#kresenkernow#archives

Great day at @Cornwall_Museum on Wednesday! Thank you to Jennifer Woolcock Collections Manager and our fellow Trainee Dan Wills for giving us a tour and discussion about the collection. How incredibly diverse it is! We especially enjoyed the temporary exhibition ‘Living Room’ 👏
Last but by no means least in our London tour was a visit to @waterandsteam where we met with Emma Canterbury Engagement Co-Ordinator. We learnt about the fascinating history of the site and how the museum is an epicentre for community projects and events. Thank you Emma! 🙏
It was a pleasure to meet with @afmmurray National Partnerships Programmer & Emma Meehan Curatorial Intern @NationalGallery. We had a great chat about our trainee programmes and the differences between small and national museums. Thank you both so much for your time!🙏
Thank you to Katherine McAlpine @museumgirlldn, Director of @BrunelMuseum for taking us around and discussing the experience of working in a small museum in London. It was something we could all relate to! We loved hearing about the rich history of the site and future plans!
Today we visited the @I_W_M for a tour of the World War II and Holocaust galleries. Special thanks to curators Kate Clements and James Bulgin for their time and specialised perspective on the decision making that goes into these exhibits. We learnt so much!
