Climate change is reshaping health, livelihoods, and communities, now, not tomorrow.
This #WorldEnvironmentDay, the message is clear: the time for action is today.
The choices we make now will define the health of generations to come. 💙

📻 We took maternal and child health to the airwaves.
Ahead of #OMNCHW (8–12 June), we joined the Rivers State Primary Health Care Management Board on Rhythm 93.7 FM to raise awareness about #immunisation, #antenatalcare, #nutrition support, and other essential services.
What looks like a simple vaccine moment is months of work.
Community health workers, trust-building conversations, and consistent follow-up made it possible. A vaccine only protects when it reaches the child.

Real impact does not begin in a boardroom. It begins in communities.
This #June we are spotlighting the voices and everyday efforts driving healthier communities and stronger systems from the ground up.
Community voices. Community impact. Follow along. 💙
#CommunityVoices
Misinformation delays protection.
Globally, 14.3M children are "zero-dose", they have never received a single vaccine.
Clear information and community trust are how we close that gap, one family at a time.

At the last mile, the right digital tools save lives. 💙
When health workers can capture data, and respond faster, more mothers and children are reached. EENDESK and CHIMIS help make this possible.

The strongest health systems are built through conversations, not just policies.
In #Enugu and #Imo, we joined the @NphcdaNG for Citizen Engagement Townhall Meetings with community leaders, and stakeholders to discuss #immunisation and #healthcare delivery.

Together for a #PeriodFriendlyWorld 💙
No woman or girl should be held back by her period.
This #MenstrualHygieneDay, we join the call to break stigma, expand menstrual health access, and build a world where dignity is never out of reach.

Every child deserves a healthy start. From immunisation to maternal health to digital tools that help ensure no child is missed, this is the work we show up for at CMS every day. Happy Children's Day, Nigeria. 💙🎉 #ChildrensDay#ChildHealth#NigeriaChildrensDay

Health systems do not deliver care on their own, people do.
Health workers are the link between systems and families. When trained, supported, and equipped, they reach every mother and child
That is the work we do at CMS. 💙

Five health facilities onboarded. Push-to-talk radios and digital tablets deployed. Teams trained.
CMS has partnered with BEMSAS to build a connected emergency response network in #BayelsaState.
Because strong health systems require strong emergency systems.

World AIDS Vaccine Day honours the scientists, healthcare workers, advocates, and trial volunteers searching for an HIV vaccine.
@UNAIDS: 40.8 million people were living with HIV in 2024.
Behind every number, people still waiting.

#Hypertension can develop silently without noticeable symptoms, which is why regular blood pressure checks matter.
This #WorldHypertensionDay, let’s work together to defeat the silent killer through early detection, healthy habits, and awareness.

Recent global reports about #Hantavirus have public interest but the @NCDCgov has confirmed there are currently no confirmed cases in #Nigeria.
Still, awareness is one of the strongest tools in protecting our communities.
Here are ways you can protect yourself and community.
