Yes essentially when trading a player the team trading assumes all the cost of the signing bonus. This is why this trade wasn’t made before the draft the eagles couldn’t afford the cap hit until after June 1st when it can be spread out over multiple years. Any salary gets passed to the new team
@firstroundmock Dude you’re posting the relevant stats in the same picture. Rattler is averaging less that 10 yard a completion. Donald is way over that. Shough who had the exact same offense is also considerably over 10 yards a completion and costing only .1 percentage in completion percentage.
Average was 6.2 yards per reception. You stat would show a running back catching a ball in the flat for no gain as a negative. He played in 14 games an on average allowed 2 catches for 12.5 yards. If you want to say you don’t think he going to cover at the next level say that. But throwing one very specific stat that shows a very small amount of what’s happening is bad.
