@ManeteZoro89652@creepydotorg Not the same guy, according to all the news articles the Steve Roth who responsible for the attack was a 28 year old part time makeup artist at the time of the attack in 1987, the Steven Roth you're citing was 46 and running the investment firm Interstate Properties at the time.
@jk_rowling I hate to say it but if this keeps up you might need to have your lawyers start preparing to sue these people into the f*&@-ing ground. These people are so delusional and unstable that they will not learn until they face consequences for this kind of libelous behavior.
Also, just a reminder to everyone, the US Supreme Court has reconvened and should be ruling on the legality of the tariffs by November. No guarantees on which way they're going to go but the courts up to this point have been ruling that they're illegal so the court might be confirming and throwing all or some of them out. Might be best to be patient and take advantage of the warehouse option until we know the outcome.
@hobbylink Have to concur with the other,s handling fees are as high as the tariffs when choosing Fedex making it much more expensive then DHL. Is that intentional (i.e. is it more a smallpak service?)
@LiquidBelowZer0@hobbylink@razzle1337 Yeah that really does help a lot, what was most infuriating when this thing started was Customs slapping all kinds of crazy tariff assessments on packages after they arrived in the US and DHL/Fedex etx. playing along and tacking on big broker fees for themselves.
@hobbylink I appreciate y'all trying to navigate this tariff mess, I'm just hoping DHL doesn't run the same "brokerage fees" scam they ran when the Tariff nightmare began.
Yeah I had the same experience here early on when the whole mess staretd. DHL charged me well over three times the combined MSRP of all the items in my package in Tariffs and "Broker fees"... and even though De Minimes was still in effect at the time and the package was well below the limit.
@GigaBasedDad It means they essentially did some high class prostituting of themselves to some emirs or other wealthy globetrotting sugardaddy and now they want to pretend they didn’t.
@politicalmath I can see some of what McReynolds is arguing but the missing component is that functional societies reward the talented who step up to support the average with additional privileges, recognition and authority. All this is conspicuously missing in these classroom stories.
Plus its worth mentioning that when possible it can be a good idea to use the IS/SL grade heat sinks on some designs even if Clan freezers are available. They work just as well and if you have criticals to spare you might as well save yourself some cash and help secure your logistics and just use them.
Yeah I remember something like that too... and while the IS may have figured out how to efficiently build the improved hardware and the Sea Foxes/Ravens would be willing to sell them the fluid the Clans would probably be jealously guarding the actual method to produce it at an economical scale (just like they do the process for Harjel).
