@DreaHumphrey When people feel hopeless and angry a leader who authentically echoes that while offering a more equitable path is far more valuable than mere measured speech (or hollow rhetoric). I am not a fan of vulgar language in public discourse but if the message is valid then so be it.

@iainblackbc The BCTF, BCSTA, and BCCPAC—all agree: SOGI 123 is a vital tool (a framework, it’s NOT curriculum) for building kind, caring, and supportive classrooms. It makes no sense that conservatives are so eager to alienate voters and scrap a framework that helps kids navigate life.

@Aaronpete_ Trade-offs is good way to frame it. I feel we have given O&G one too many chances to save the day. SME business tax rev is on par with ALL our resource extraction combined but yet there’s little being done to grow local businesses. We need to invest diverse economic multipliers.

@BIVnews This is a great example of how small businesses in B.C. can inject massive amounts of tax revenue and drive regional consumer spending. We don’t need more pipelines, we need to unlock the power of the local economy.

@FoodProfessor The way I see it, restrictive property ownership is a form of monopolistic control—these changes are a very necessary, I wish the competition bureau did more than simply observe up to this point. Anyway, glad to see movement in the right direction.

@BCLegislature We need a more fair system! Political parties have evolved their leadership voting processes—but citizens are left with First Past the Post. That’s weak governance in my books. Voter reform is the right thing to do.

@JarrydJaeger Sovereignty in Ai is key but I agree with the Greens, clear environmental protections and more digital governance is required here. Regulatory frameworks haven’t caught up to Ai so why fast track and subsidize a private enterprise?
