The wild part is not that Trump posted this, it’s that this open call to close the airspace of a UN-recognized sovereign state is, in international law terms, a textbook act of aggression.

No legal basis, UN mandate and bilateral agreement, just U.S. president publicly instructing airlines, pilots, and bizarrely, “drug dealers” to treat another country’s airspace as void.

This isn’t “foreign policy,” it is a unilateral declaration that U.S. political whims override another nation’s sovereignty.

If any non-Western state said this about U.S. airspace, it would be called: an invasion threat. But when Washington does it, the world is expected to pretend it’s normal.
