@rovabtw Midwest USA here and yes! I did it 8th grade back in 1996 and my kid also just did it in 8th grade a few years ago. I then dissected a rat in college biology.

@mom_tho I do. I put the summer dresses in a box under the bed and like half my tshirts. It's so I have room for my sweaters and cardigans. Not everyone has a walk in closet.

@dropnpop_ You want iced hot chocolate. Chocolate milk is different. Hot chocolate uses the cocoa powder. Chocolate milk uses a syrup. They're both good in different ways.

Trump: You're losers. It's the greatest. If you're struggling in this economy, you're a loser.

The way they’re framing this as if she changed her story repeatedly is so irresponsible when in reality she was merely given the opportunity to read over and correct the transcribed statement that was written by someone else to make sure it was accurate, a very standard procedure

@shaunasknife I'm old so this was 1999. HS was from 7:30-2:30. We got a 25 min lunch broken up into 3 periods. 2200 students when I was there. Then sports or band right after until 5pm. I was in theater and would be there till 10pm some days. I also had a job!

I agree. I speak Spanish. Had 6 years of professional schooling in it, but I'm not fluent so rarely mention it. Went to Costa Rica a few years ago and was able to talk to people and read most of it. It wasn't perfect, but it worked.

in my experience a lot of europeans say they’re bilingual but they aren’t fluent in their second language while americans will really only say they’re bilingual if they’re fluent or almost fluent
