@nntaleb Too many refuse to give the bulk of credit to luck, timing, “by accident” or however you want to describe it. Hustle and smarts, yeah that is part of it—but plenty of smart hustlers didn’t make it.
@mcuban spot on how we have to think about this. compute costs will come down continuously and eventually be a big savings. Then, will it be too late to get the advantage of AI because they haven’t started? Big question is when: 1 year, 5 years, 10 years? This is the tech cycle.
@Jolo997@GyarmathyJeff@JoJoFromJerz I don’t need religion to teach me good and bad, in fact not being religious means I get to choose to be good—because it is good. Religious motives to act with a “moral compass” are all tied into fear of hell or reward of heaven. Who has the more pure moral compass??
@BasedMikeLee Isn’t Easter about Jesus, and wasn’t Jesus about love? Why do you have to be so against showing support for the one group at highest risk of suicide?
@BasedMikeLee You are an idiot. You realize a door flew off a plane MIDFLIGHT, and you think the airlines can police themselves better? Boeing wasn’t even following their own internal guidelines, but yeah, let them govern themselves even more.
