i’m genuinely flabbergasted as to how we’re still having “lesbians can like men” discourse… if lesbians “can like men”then where is the sexuality for women who do not like men ?!?!???
They should invent noise cancelling headphones that simultaneously aren’t noise cancelling at all, for autistic girls who get overstimulated by sound, but are also stuck in a state of hyper-vigilance and get scared when they can’t hear what’s going on around them.
Edtwt is about eating disorders. ARFID is an eating disorder. Therefore they should be allowed on edtwt.

Also thinking that people "choose" to have ed's is the dumbest take I've heard all year I think
@lysmoonart Hi I don't know you but if I could retweet this a million times I would I genuinely felt crazy when I had this exact take and the only opinions I saw were attacking it. Oh my god. I'm so glad I'm not the only one LMAO
I also want to say this clearly:
I respect those who choose the other ending.
But I don’t respect the takes that claim choosing Maelle’s ending is bad. That letting her stay in Lumière means giving up or avoiding reality. I also disagree with people saying the people of Lumière aren’t real.
They are to Maelle and even to Verso. Even Renoir treats them as sentient beings, despite the Dessendre family’s conflict.
And if we’re going to talk about addiction, maybe we should be looking at Aline, not Maelle, whose relationship with the canvas is the one that has truly turned toxic.
I see the E33 ending debate is on fire again, so here’s my take, so heavy spoilers coming your way:
I love both Maelle and Verso deeply and understand their own motivations and desires. Both endings are meant to be grey. Neither is entirely good or bad. But in my case, I'll always choose Maelle’s.
Verso’s ending, as beautiful as it is in its own way, ultimately strips Maelle of her autonomy. It infantilizes her and denies her the right to process her trauma on her own terms. She’s only 16. No one her age should be forced to carry the weight of what she’s been through.
Let’s not pretend it’s healing to force a girl back into a body that hurts her, into a family where her sister said she had died in the fire, and her mother hates her so much she tortured the painted version of her.
In both endings, every character suffers in one way or another. But just because Verso says “well you are a paintress, you can make another world” doesn’t make it okay. It’s not the same. It will never be.
