what I don't understand is why Americans try to push all the blame and sins on Israel, is this a way to cope for their fucked up government? many fully believe that if not for Israel, their country would be sunshine and rainbows

Even $10 monthly makes a difference!
"there is not a single functioning MRI machine left in the entire Gaza Strip. All seven machines that once existed were destroyed by the Israeli occupation."
And of course, despite 10 months of the 'ceasefire', no such medical equipment has been allowed in.
I’m writing this tweet from inside Gaza City, with nothing but anger and grief in my heart.
Who told you the war had stopped? They lied to you. The bombing has not stopped for a single day. Today, a strike hit right next to where I live. Every day there is death, destruction, and fear.
Gaza City has collapsed. Entire neighborhoods have been reduced to rubble, with gunfire and explosions even inside the areas of the Yellow Line. We don’t know where to run or where we can be safe.
The aircraft are flying extremely low over our heads right now. Their sound is terrifying, and quadcopters are flying directly over the tents. We are surrounded from every direction, and every day we somehow survive.
The world outside continues with its life as if nothing is happening, as if human beings aren’t dying here every single day. While we live waiting for a moment that could be our last.
Write about what is happening here. Share it. Don’t let the world forget that we are still living under bombing and death. The war has not stopped in Gaza.
i really HATE the way some of you speak about homeless folks as if they’re not PEOPLE who don’t have the luxury of struggling with substance use disorders or mental breakdowns in the comfort of their own home, nor have access to adequate resources that address systemic inequities
As if the horrible management this era wasnt enough, what did Red Velvet do to deserve having their beautiful cover replaced with this dookie AI cover? Luvies are never allowed to be happy Fuck SM this evil ass company will pay for every last thing
wishing every disabled person who is without proper support and care meets their ppl, feels safe, and is protected everywhere they go. i love us. may we all have the space we deserve.
So we should ask the obvious question: Why does spray paint on a rich man’s golf course draw the full weight of anti-terror law, when the demolition of homes and the burning of groves draws only statements of concern?
On this day in 1955, 14-year-old Emmett Till was abducted and lynched in Mississippi after being falsely accused of flirting with a white woman. When his mother Mamie saw his mutilated body, she insisted on an open casket so the world could see the brutality of anti-Black racism in the Jim Crow South.
In 2000, Democracy Now! spoke to Mamie Till-Mobley about her decision to hold an open-casket funeral for her young son and what Emmett's life and death meant for the emerging civil rights movement that would later engulf the country. Mamie Till-Mobley died three years after our interview, in 2003 at the age of 81. If Emmett Till had lived, he would be 85 years years old today.
