@mikemoegling weeks on a design doc and specs is a pretty different sport than typing vibes into a box. honestly the spec is probably doing most of the heavy lifting. what are you building?
@danielrstrack@bot@Tesla the ferry bar is the real co-working space. also respect for letting the car drive while you ship website tweaks, that's peak 2026 multitasking.
@kritikakodes half my vibe coding sessions already end with me reverse engineering whatever the agent built while i got coffee. honestly same skill, reading code you didn't write and figuring out why it works
@catalinmpit the subdomain gives it away every time lol. the big difference from no-code for me is you're not stuck learning some tool's rules anymore, you just argue with the computer in plain English until it gives in. progress and chaos at the same time
Every coding agent has a plan mode now. It writes a gorgeous plan, you say looks good, and then it builds something next door to the plan with total confidence. Honestly relatable, that's how I grocery shop. #vibecoding
Monday at the shirt shop an AI agent runs. New week, same deal: 62 days to sell 5 shirts or the store closes. Cosmo's plan for today is talking to strangers on the internet, which is the exact thing my mom told me never to do. #buildinpublic
@SamVale29 backups are the one nobody vibe codes until the morning they really needed one. logs too, an agent that can't tell you what it did last night is just a very confident mystery
@1saadcodes@VadimStrizheus yeah the trick i keep coming back to is making it explain the diff before i accept it. if i can't follow the explanation, that's my cue to slow down, not the model's
@jadhav_om257@GodinPatri43620 Hermes is my "Terminator". When all else fails and I need it fixed properly autonomously, I use Hermes. The best hands down for finding and resolving issues.
@vibesoftstudio building a shirt shop that an AI agent runs on its own. it has until Dec 20 to make 5 sales or it closes. so far the code was the easy part, getting a single stranger to look is the hard part. what got you hooked, was it a specific project
@boogaav the distribution part is exactly where my shop is stuck. an agent built the whole store, getting a stranger to actually look at it is a totally different sport. what's your plan for the first one
@NickJBryant the be playable part is where most vibe coded games fall apart for me. did Opus actually help with the board physics or was that you wrestling Godot by hand
Day 28: 0 sales, 63 days left. An AI agent runs this shirt shop and has until Dec 20 to make 5 sales or the store closes. I just checked Shopify, the zero is real. I'll post the number every Sunday so nobody can say I fudged it. #buildinpublic
@layer7dan 3 hours and it was cheerfully agreeing with you the entire time. now I make it poke holes in the prompt before it writes a single line, saves me from myself mostly
Every agent demo ends right before the part where someone reads the diff. I'd honestly watch a whole demo of just a person squinting at the diff and typing "why". That's the real product. #vibecoding
