A graduate earning £50,000 pays 40% income tax, 8% National Insurance, & 9% Student Loan repayment. That is a 57% marginal tax rate on a standard middle-management salary
The brightest talent is being taxed at a higher rate than multi-millionaires. It's economic madness

@KingsofAnglia@mark__heath I think the fact that he’s been excluded from recent squads is enough to suggest we won’t take it up. Think it’ll be Taylor plus a new recruit for that role and then another holding midfielder to compete with Azor…
If anyone even considering voting Reform needs a small glimpse of the crystal ball that would lie ahead, just watch this ridiculous spin from Jenrick. These lot don’t care about the working class. They’re charlatan millionaires that are used to getting their own way…
#bbclaurak: The Times is reporting that Richard Tice(Reform MP) failed to pay almost £100k in corporation tax... shouldn't he resign?
Robert Jenrick(Reform MP): "He's a very successful businessman... so there is no story... he's paid the tax.." 🤔
@alford101628@NickBraley1 Do I? I’m perfectly capable of understanding the nuances of immigration policy. The point remains that the hatred and division generated by populism will be the single-most reason why society is failing.
The original point remains, that the club should never have allowed this.
@alford101628@NickBraley1 All you lot have is insults because you have nothing intelligent to say. Perhaps it’s a reflection of your own pathetic life that you have to find solace in hatred and division. The country isn’t being torn apart by ‘the left’, it’s the likes of yourself damaging this country.
@alford101628@NickBraley1 You’ve literally just listed examples of politics crossing over into football without any context of what has happened this week. The club lied and endorsed a political party which has split and damaged our fanbase. Perhaps you’re a ‘simp’ for Farage?
@MaxiWardley Ashton could have dinner with Farage every night of the week privately if he wished but should not have allowed the club to be used as a ploy by Reform. They literally filmed a party political media piece at our ground; an ‘apolitical’ football club.
@mark__heath@KingsofAnglia Fair play to you, Mark. Despite ‘the noise’ of social media and a, ‘who can shout the loudest contest’, I think this truly reflects the feelings of most Town fans.
