@daviskens@lewis_goodall But then the US didn't join WW2 until Déc 1941 after they were attacked. They didn't join for the French, they did it against the Japanese.
@Jacxdad3376 As X (Twitter) is currently bollocks and won't show me anything... I'll say a big feliz cumpleaños to Julie, from the Canary Islands in reply to your post. Hope it was a great day 🍾
@Steven_Swinford Pretty sure Canada has a trade agreement with the US, even signed by the "man" who is currently president of the US. Doesn't seem to stop him implementing tariffs though. You can sign any agreement you want with Trump though I doubt it means he'd stick to it.
@lcabbabeh@SFoodbanks It's a disgrace that you have to do this, but thanks for doing it, and to all the others out there doing similar. Hopefully, one day, this won't be needed anymore. Big respect to you
@absolutelyamyyy I think it's down to each couple to decide, based lots of things e.g. salaries, if one person loves/hate job, commute, potential future career advancement, job flexibility etc.etc. And unfortunately in many cases both may have no choice but to work.
