Lakeview's STEAM club started today where students made invisible ink to introduce themselves to new friends. To find out their names, students used a solution to reveal the message. How cool!

Great evening with G.A.M.E.S at the Soap Box Derby. We learned about it's history, toured the past Derby car winners and raced our mini cars experimenting with weight to increase speed. We also raced down the hill in an actual soap box car. So cool! 😜 @AkronMath

Day 2 NCTM kicked off with a great session Curiosity, Competence, and Connections: 3 elements to spark joy and wonder in math. We explored spherical geometry. What? Exactly! However the connections, prior knowledge and conversations we had are goals for EVERY class.#NCTMBALT22
