@JoshInEncinitas@KevCantHang If I were in the elevator going up the your floor and I got a "???" text at 8:01, I would hit that down button so fast and walk right out the door, because you are NOT going to be a pleasant person to work for.
@sunday_mic36760 When I managed a restaurant I actually did use to give all the non-smokers "fresh air breaks" cuz that lunch rush kicks everyone's ass regardless of your chosen addiction.
@RealDianeYap This seems like a good lesson for a person with autism who is in a class specifically designed to help them navigate social situations (my sister has been in quite a few), not a SEVEN YEAR OLD TRYING TO SHARE WITH HER MOM
@ulxma Probably processing or in denial (I know it took me yearsss to process) BUT ALSO, it's possible she's this "friendly" with him because that's how she got him to straight up CONFESS
@Califoroh7m@LookAroundCafe Okay, so, objectively, you weren't "represented" *as a woman* because this was entirely and specifically about the young male perspective. Could you relate to the human condition? Absolutely. Were you and your specific female experience *represented*? No.
Girl, I almost fell for this lie.
I nearly married a Muslim man. He would drop me at church, remind me to go, even talked about meeting my parents. It all looked right, but deep down I knew it wasn’t.
I didn’t want to leave my church or raise Muslim children, but I ignored it because I thought love would conquer.
Then I met his parents. They asked me when I was converting to Islam. Later he said, “Once we’re married, all that church will stop.”
That was when my eyes opened.
Sis, don’t be deceived. Not everything that looks supportive is aligned with your faith. They will convert you eventually
@0xleegenz No, he sued them because they claimed they had more caffeine than coffee, which wasn't true. Red Bull spun it like they were getting sued because they don't actually give you wings, to avoid bad PR. And you fell for it.
@bigredclearsog This is so clearly a group of friends playing "WWE Superstars" together and then a teacher picking up the main kid like, "Alright, that was fun, but you gotta eat your lunch, man."
@emmma_camp_ I DO have an anxiety disorder, but at one point it got so bad that I couldn't leave the house without having a panic attack. I needed to be in a "safe place" or else I'd lose it. And then my shitty bf broke up with me, and, wouldn't you know it, my agoraphobia cleared right up.
@9mmballpoint Geography class in 5th grade, studying African countries, and someone as equally sheltered as I was mispronounced Republic of Niger. Didn't understand why there were snickers and asked my parents later.
@SassyRealtor214@LukeFlux1 It IS studied! It's literally a debilitating condition that forces you to say the absolutely worst thing you could say in that moment. He goes into airports and shouts that he has a bomb. So yeah, he didn't shout racial slurs at white people because that wasn't *the worst thing*
@trapezoidmouth No one's entitled to a biological child. I get the desire to be a parent, but if your body can't undertake this massive risky endeavor, why do you get to ask someone else to undergo it just because you have money? You're paying for someone to risk their life for your convenience.
@benlandautaylor This is like when one of my friends excited told me about seeing raccoons and deer at her local zoo, and I had to reset and get excited with her, when in my mind I was just like, umm do you want to just hang out in my backyard?
@PopulistBlock @RunJuly@michaelharriot So white men fought white men to gain better rights, then, once gained, still had a good old time enslaving black people. And you think the *white man* is the hero in this situation?
