Why are we doing this?
One of our team suffered an unheralded cardiac arrest in the street and was saved by CPR from a passer-by. He's since made it his mission to get as many people as possible to learn this skill.

Why are the news readers on @BBCNews persisting today in calling a cardiac arrest a heart attack? They are two very different things and CPR has no place for a heart attack, unless it leads on to cardiac arrest.

In addition, the team from Sutton based, @counts_cpr will be on hand to explain the importance of learning how to administer CPR; deal with someone having a cardiac arrest, heart attack or choking. They will also demonstrate how to use a defibrillator. See you tomorrow :

We've had an overwhelming response to the CPR courses we've run in partnership with @counts_cpr this year, that we've decided to run more courses next year. The final course of 2024 is Thursday [7th November] but we'll be running more courses in February, March & April 2025.
