In an evening which highlighted so many innovative and community-minded businesses across #SuttonColdfield, #Lichfield, #Tamworth and #Cannock, it was a privilege to be recognised alongside them.
What a night! We were presented with the President’s Award at last night’s #STLCAwards2025 by @Sutton_Chamber President @NaeemArif_. Our outgoing Chief Executive @TinaSwani and new Chief Executive Lisa Martinali were delighted to receive the award at the @TheBelfryHotel

Happiest memories & tremendous pride as I leave my role as CEO of @trust_sutton Sutton Coldfield Charitable Trust. Huge thanks to everyone I’ve enjoyed working with over the past 4 and a half years. We’ve achieved so much together. Keep in touch. Loving the flowers 🌺
Today is #ArmisticeDay when, as a nation, we pause in silence to reflect on the service and sacrifices the Armed Forces make on our behalf. #suttoncoldfield#community

Our Trustees have arrived at their last stop – New Hall Valley, to see the brilliant boardwalk rebuilt by the Friends of New Hall Valley. The boardwalk was built with support from a £26,000 grant from @trust_sutt, along with support from @RoyalSutColTC and @BhamCityCouncil
Next, our Trustees are meeting the members of Sutton Coldfield Rifle and Pistol Club, as they visit their Coles Lane base. Our grant of £10,000 helped pay for a new heating system, ventilation and disabled access to their premises.
Our Trustees are now at @CherishedGirls in @scgracechurch shopping centre. Cherished was set up in 2012 to help young girls with support and encouragement as they chart the difficulties of life. @sutt_trust has backed mental health schemes in Sutton schools with a £40,000 grant
Now our Trustees are visiting @WalmleyGC, to meet Walmley Golf Foundation's Lesley Robbins, to see the brilliant disability-friendly short course area they have created. The first of its kind in the UK, the area was created with a £44,500 grant from @sutt_trust.

Next, we’re visiting the wonderful @pennsprimary School, to meet headteacher Helen Lowe and see the Sensory Room they have created for the children. The room provides a calm space where children can go to have some downtime, and was created with the support of a £9,248 grant.
