On the Fritz. Something that is on the Fritz means out of order or not operating correctly. The idiom exactly applies to to the Cook County Assessor's office.
@fritz4assessor You lie all the time Fritz. You lie about being transparent, ethical and fair. You lied about running a dual track system. You lied about FOIA.
Throw Fritz out next week. Since taking office he has made poor decisions at every opportunity. Doesn’t deserve the chance to do more damage to Cook County
@fritz4assessor doesn’t deserve a second chance. Toss him out on 6/28. He has done significant damage to Cook County and everyone will pay more because of his inept leadership & management of the office.
@peoplesfabric Fritz lies constantly and makes things up too. News flash- politicians are politicians. I care more about an effective administrator. Fritz is not one
@fritz4assessor What about your own house and the 2020 reassessment funky business? Bet your neighbors appreciated what u did. Too good for a homeowners exemption?
@fritz4assessor Mr. “transparency”’s office has been this way under his entire tenure. Less information under Fritz and it’s always the blame game with him. Also, he runs out unelected officials to fall on the sword when he is the problem
@fritz4assessor What a misleading statement. This seems like an abuse of your office as well. Tell us why u don’t have an exemption on your own home and why you played with its value post publication?
Mr. Transparency was supposed to foster a consistent business environment. Instead @fritz4assessor pulls campaign stunts in majority blue Cook County. Fritz is a liar, a terrible Assessor and a poor leader.
The CCBOR doesn’t just “knock down” values. They make evidence based decisions brought by taxpayers. Another way of looking at what this propaganda piece is saying, @fritz4assessor was so off on his initial values they were all reduced. @CrainsChicago reported on this in 2020!
@GregHinz Why don’t you be straight and let the voting public/taxpayers know? This is Fritz Kaegi’s fault and his attempts to blame everyone else are only aided by this poor reporting.
@CrainsChicago Garbage summary update. This is all the fault of the @AssessorCook and to say anything else is a disservice to voters, taxpayers, and your readers.
Who wears the jacket? Cook County officials are confirming that mucho billions in second half property-tax bills will go out 5, maybe 6 months late. But lots of finger pointing over why. https://t.co/6J6zTCGg3q
@AlexNitkin I think it is clear that @fritz4assessor screwed up and is hiding. Voters should know about this when making a decision this June. Guy scampered off and put an unelected official out there
