@Not_Elon_Musk I commend you for speaking up for what you believe in, but wish you knew how dangerous your words are. You don't speak for our generation like you promised the Commissioners. With a little research you'd learn how detrimental these are to our earth!
They cannot ruin our land, homes, and community unless you voluntarily give them the right to by signing a contract!
Don't sign. Hold the line. And help us protect one another! If they don't have the land then there is nothing they can do.
We cannot sit here and let them place turbines this close to those that we care about! Our Commissioners will not be able to protect us. Many houses on the site map have a turbine closer than 3000 ft and multiple ones within a mile.
Signing any contract, turbine or transmission line, is directly helping make this possible to your non participating neighbors. To their homes.
5280 is 1 mile
2000 feet is out your backdoor.
Fighting for 1 mile or farther setbacks is becoming the new standard worldwide.
Nextera is coming in and taking what is most precious to us and we are being told there's nothing we can do about it @GovLauraKelly@LauraKellyKS protect our Flint Hills #ruralstrong
Our Commissioners are becoming infamous as I talk to people from New Hampshire, North Carolina, Iowa, & Nebraska as the commissioners who never had a public meeting, spends more time in executive session than with constituents, hiding Neeld’s bills & who's paying him.
@GovLauraKelly we should be part of the Flint Hills there is no denying it! Our rolling green hills and beautiful landscape is being threatened by a corporate giant that we may not be able to fight alone. Help protect our land that is the last of the Flint Hills! #protectourhomes
