@biolumiJEFFence I have to admit - it's been HARD for me to accept that I'm still a scientist without the journal pubs. I still don't believe I'm a "real" scientist most days. But I am... or at least a science manager.
@biolumiJEFFence We publish OA, but not in journals. All stuff is peer-reviewed by experts in our partnership, and those reviewers get acknowledged. I started this bc (1) we can't afford journals (2) our audience doesn't read journals (3) science gets out sooner (4) reviewers need love
