"The most important thing for me is that my children and my father are proud of me, and f*** Kobakhidze and Mdinaradze. Long live Georgia, long live Ukraine, and f*** Russia.” - Aleko Elisashvili shouted at the end of his closing statement.
Applause erupted in the courtroom; Judge Gelashvili almost broke his gavel from banging it so hard. “You are expelled!” he shouted, then turned to the attendees, including the journalists: “Everyone leave the courtroom!” and walked out with hurried steps."
Before Aleko Elisashvili's 13-year-long sentence over "attempted terrorism" was announced, @Publika_ge General Director Zura Vardiashvili posted Aleko's last words and the events of the closed courtroom:
129+ people have been convicted of "treason" in Belarus since 2020, @viasna96 say.
Journalists, priests, musicians, politicians, former officials, entrepreneurs &activists have all been persecuted under this charge.
"Treason" means nothing more than disagreeing with the regime.
Russians dropped aerial bombs on Zaporizhzhia, damaging at least 5 residential buildings. One person was killed and four were injured, including a child.
It's always interesting how quick you are to empathize with russians, yet somehow you never extend that same compassion to Ukrainians, who are the ones being invaded, killed, and displaced
🚨 Russia no longer needs to move every Ukrainian child to erase them.
Since 2014, Russia has been building a system to militarize and indoctrinate Ukrainian children. After 2022, it expanded this system across all temporarily occupied territories.
Fewer transfers do not mean fewer victims. They mean Russia has made these crimes easier to commit.
Children must be an integral part of all ceasefire and peace negotiations. Russia must be held accountable.

My grandparents’ house was filled with laughter and loud conversations and various relatives from all over the ex-Soviet region dropping by for visits — including granddad’s cousins from Russia. And then the same Russians launched a barrage of ballistic missiles at her town.

We call on all EU representatives that read our tweets to reconsider their vote, and to vote AGAINST the new Chat Control proposal.
Specifically because this law gives American Big-Tech the power to massively surveillance EU Citizens.

"Nathan Ngoy received a red card vs Iran, and he didn't play the next match."
"Go and read the statement of the Belgian Federation, because this is the ONLY RIGHT opinion!"
