I'm so grateful to be able to write these for @umichmedicine and spread the word about our financial counselors who help many people, whether or not they're our patients. And I always put in a plug for the service offered through @coveragecounts too!

Open Enrollment on the Marketplace starts today! (Also, lots of employers have open enrollment now, and Open Enrollment for Medicare is still going on.) Medicaid is open year round. We Help People figure out options. Call 734-544-3030 for an appointment! (734-545-2949 en español)
#Medicare open enrollment began earlier this month. About 7 in 10 beneficiaries say that they didn’t compare their coverage options during a recent open enrollment season. Not shopping around can have a big impact on enrollees’ coverage and costs.

It's community health worker (CHW) month and we're delighted to recognize the Washtenaw Health Plan's tremendous CHWs for the work they do--day in, day out, and with compassion--to care for residents with complex health and social needs. https://t.co/2Z0i7ufBra @coveragecounts
Tonight, @wcpublichealth is having a Summer Fun Day from 4-7 pm (come on by 555 Towner for food, activities, gifts/prizes) and the WHP (aka @coveragecounts) will be open as well. Come see us!

Clarification: additional expiration date extensions have been issued (including for tests with expiration dates after 2022-09-29 (YYYY-MM-DD)). To be sure of your expiration date for these tests, check the lot number here! https://t.co/xVlqum3Rl5
For example, if the expiration date printed on your box says 2022-07-21, the updated expiration date is 2022-10-20. See more details and look up your tests to confirm the updated expiration date here: https://t.co/xVlqum3Rl5
Note for those who get tests through Project ACT: The FDA granted a 3 month shelf-life extension for the iHealth COVID-19 Antigen Rapid Test, which extended the shelf-life of all iHealth tests with expiration dates on or before 2022-09-29 (YYYY-MM-DD) from 6 months to 9 months.
🧪 If you already ordered tests from Project ACT last month, you can now request more for August!
