@tes@ProfAMGregory This is such a non issue. Many of my schools already ban mobile phones and still allow those with medical needs to have theirs, with a medical care plan in place.
@Headteacherchat My advice is take HT comments off reports. You donβt know every pupil well enough apart from outliers at either end. So your comments become bland and not very personal. Parents and children know this, so honestly - spend your time checking that teachers make personal comments.
I appreciate this is a first world problem, but @ODEONCinemas how have you sold out of Mandalorian merch before the film is released? Taking my son tomorrow to see the film and he is going to be upset!
@mum3003 I am in our schools every day & visit early years classrooms every day & speak to leaders & teachers every day. What I see is a small minority who have additional/medical needs that require them to wear nappies. I also see very many where parents are βtoo busyβ to toilet.
@MisterS_DT77 I had hoped(!) that in 2026, after a number of IT issues over the years, that somebody somewhere should test a system before it went live! π€£π
In our primary schools this morning - all had issues logging into the new assessment portal. Did nobody think to consider 17k primary schools all trying to log in at the same time?
