I spent 30 years in academia. Here are my observations about my students. Toward the end, I was teaching “Gen Z." These students combined ignorance with strident moral certainty. They seemed to have had no general education at all, and lacked the most basic knowledge of history, even recent history. They were immature and emotionally fragile.
Many could not handle criticism, no matter how sugar coated. It took very little to reduce them to tears – or to send them into a fit of narcissistic rage. They were shockingly bereft of intellectual curiosity, and many gave the impression of having no internal life at all.
I'll share more observations later.
Democrats to a politician are opposed to each one of these super-majority positions. Why would anyone vote for a Democrat politician, for whom opposition to these super-majority positions is a virtual idol?
@libsoftiktok If the journalist harasses or Nick has reasonable fear that Nick’s truthfulness may be revealed, than Nick can be protected by his own law and the journalist fined. Huh.🤔
This is nonsensical. First, competitive sports are not, first and foremost, about "inclusivity": only the best in a given category get to play; all others are excluded. In the case of women's sports, those "best" must meet the qualification of being a real woman. If you want to be fully inclusive, drop the qualification "woman" entirely and let all males in. To have a category known as "women's sports" is already to exclude.
Second, a biological male posing as a female is the antithesis of being his (and I do mean his) “authentic self.” He is a poser. As a biological male he has special strength and speed advantages over real females. If there were no separate teams for women, women wouldn't make it in virtually any competitive sports, certainly not in the upper echelons of professional and top amateur sports. Certainly no woman would qualify to play in the NBA.
Third, inclusion is not the highest consideration. Truth is. Reality is. And the so-called “inclusion“ of biological males in female sports results (ironically) in unfairly excluding real females, not to mention endangering them both in the game and in the locker room.
That a real female would advocate for this kind of insidious “inclusion” is a testament to the power of senseless ideology and indoctrination, reinforced by elite censure and reward, over truth and reality and indeed over morality and authentic love.
My friend and coauthor @LoganLancing has generously released the entire fourth chapter of our book The Queering of the American Child as an article on X because of its value to our present dangerous moment. Share it widely if you can. Get the book if you think it helps.
