The Govt of India under Modi-Shah leadership and their local satraps, namely N. Biren led council of Ministers and the MLAs representing the so-called "Kuki-Zo" tribes, in Manipur have been presiding over a bloodied manufactured mayhem for the last one and half years and the horrific and orchestrated violence still continues to date.

They have reduced Indian State into a banana republic in Manipur while destroying such a beautiful state with a long history.

How long will you go on with your rhetorics and lies of peace and normalcy being gradually returned in the state to clandestinely pursue your strategic and political goals?

Insofar as the Indian State has not been able to rein in the violence and assert its writ to defeat the inimical sectarian forces and safeguard the life and property of the citizens in the state to date under this Govt of India and its minions, doesn't it amount to compelling the suffering people of Manipur to invoke international R2P norms of UN to save themselves and their beloved state?

Incessant rainfall from #CycloneRemal has caused severe flooding across Manipur, severely disrupting daily life. A mudslide near Sinam village on NH 37 swept a truck into a gorge, leaving several others stranded. Waterlogged roads are making movement difficult.

❤️ Ending 8 months of hide and seek game, 37 MLAs including several ministers cutting across party lines took oath to protect #Manipur at the sacred Kanglo Fort today, responding to Arambai Tengol and Public's call.

❗️As elected representatives, it was disheartening they waited over 8 months, before being forced by public to take a unified position; instead of posturing and political one upmanship Vs the 10 #Kuki_Zo who had taken a unified position to break Manipur back in May/June last year.

❗️2 days earlier, 35 MLAs including leaders from Naga tribes and Muslims have asked the Centre to scrap the Suspension of Operations (SoO) agreement with 25 Kuki insurgent groups. If this demand is not met, the leaders would take "appropriate action" after consulting the people, they said.

❗️Lets hope our elected representatives convey the public's uncompromising sentiment to the powers in Delhi for positive action; and end this orchestrated cycle of violence to break our state Manipur.
