Joseph Smith claimed that Satan once gave him a false revelation.

Joseph Smith couldn't discern the difference between Satan's influence and God's influence.

That means every single Mormon doctrine, belief and revelation is suspect and must be discarded.

The Book of Mormon is deleterious.

URGENTE: Decenas de cristianos fueron masacrados en Etiopía a lo largo de la última semana por islamistas.

Decenas de miles de cristianos han sido masacrados por islamistas en toda África, y al mundo no parece importarle.

My favourite moment from the Godlogic vs. Dr. Nasser debate…

Godlogic: Prove Jesus was a Muslim.

Dr. Nasser: Jesus was a Muslim because He submitted Himself to one God.

Godlogic: Which God?

Dr. Nasser: The Creator of the universe.

Godlogic: And what did Jesus call Him?

Dr. Nasser: Umm… Adonai? 😠

Godlogic: Nope.

Dr. Nasser: What term did they use in the Bible again? 😠

Godlogic: Abba.

Dr. Nasser: 😠 Not always.

Godlogic: Did Jesus use the term “Abba”?😌

Dr. Nasser: Yes. 😠

Godlogic: What does “Abba” mean?🙂

Dr. Nasser: Father. 😠

Godlogic: 🙂 Is that a good Muslim?

Dr. Nasser: 😡😡😡 Are we really going back to this?

Godlogic: 🙂 Stop stalling.

Dr. Nasser: 😈 You’re really good at this, huh?

Godlogic: I AM. 😎

Dr. Nasser: 👹 Listen! Jesus was speaking to Israelites, and Jews today also call God Father!

Godlogic: 😇🙂 Are they Muslims?

Dr. Nasser: 👹👹👹 NO, THEY ARE JEWS!

Godlogic: Thank you. It’s over. 😹🙌

That exchange was probably the funniest moment of the entire debate.

@Kryptotajeer Jesus is Yahweh. It just reaffirms that Early Christians believed Jesus is God.

Spent a few moments on the official LDS site. As expected, much vague pablum. This, however, caught my eye:

"The Holy Trinity is the term many Christian religions use to describe God the Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost. Latter-day Saints believe very strongly in all three, but we don’t believe they’re all the same person."

Newsflash: No Christian believes they are the same person. This is either ignorance or worse.

Mormonism was based on the belief that the Apostles’ Creed is an abomination to God.

Joseph Smith said this is what God told him.

Yet they want to be called “Christian.”

Come out of Mormonism and come to Jesus.

Bill said he didn’t preach from The Passion Translation. Then he did.

[Mike Winger @MikeWingerii]

Mormons are often very personally offended when Christians say that Mormonism isn’t Christian. This is dumb.

Joseph Smith’s first “encounter” with God involves God telling Smith that every creed Christians profess is an abomination to God.

Every creed.

That includes the Nicene Creed. They reject who God is, who Jesus is, the nature of salvation, the nature of exaltation, the clear teaching of Scripture, etc..

Mormonism rejects the very core of the Christian faith in all its essentials. Joseph Smith knew this but nowadays they are playing mind games with their own people and with real Christians.

Either THEY are Christians or WE are. It’s one or the other. Not both.

When asked “Will all be damned but Mormons?” Smith replied, “Yes, and a great portion of them unless they repent and work righteousness” (Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith, pg. 119)

The Doctrine and Covenants (1:30) leaves no doubt to the Mormon teaching of exclusivity when it says the LDS Church is “the only true and living church upon the face of the whole earth, with which I, the Lord, am well pleased ….”

Brigham Young, second only to Joseph Smith in Mormonism said…

“Should you ask why we differ from other Christians, as they are called, it is simply because they are not Christians as the New Testament defines Christianity” (Journal of Discourses 10:230).

“The Christian world, so-called, are heathens as to the knowledge of the salvation of God” (Journal of Discourses 8:171).

I could easily give you pages of them saying they are the only true Christians and how we are all ignorant beasts and our doctrines are wrong. They knew at the time they had a different God, gospel, Scripture, and system of belief. But now it has become expedient to pretend otherwise while still preaching all those false and unchristian things.

Mormons, your leaders are gaslighting you and you are gaslighting us. You aren’t Christian but we want you to be. Flee from Mormonism. Flee from Joseph Smith.

@begomeorthodox2 No one has a problem with tradition. It is when you make those traditions binding to faith and salvation that there is a problem
