Isaac Newton was a fascinating figure. Very eclectic. Despite the popular misconception that he was some champion of Christianity and science, he was in fact a heterodox alchemist and occultist. You wont want to miss this one.

@UnseenPathways@Rach4Patriarchy And so do EO, RC, OO. They all read and interpret through the prism of their preferred interpreter.
Always better to read the scriptures in the context of the people who wrote it. Not through the eyes of the post roman world, the midevil world, or the enlightenment world.
@UnseenPathways@Rach4Patriarchy I dont disagree that some Calvinists do that, sure. You wont find a more vociferous critic of calvinism than myself. But its also just simply incorrect to say they place Calvin as a higher authority than the Apostles.
@UnseenPathways@Rach4Patriarchy im certainly no calvinist, but its still a straw man to claim calvinists view John Calvin as holding the same authority as the apostles. Most of them also view Augustine in as high esteem as Calvin.
@UnseenPathways@Rach4Patriarchy Those are simply efficient words to explain theological distinctives, Lutherans are not claiming Luther has the same authority as Paul or Peter. EOs essentially claim that ecumenical councils do.
As an alleged former protestant, you seem dead set on misrepresenting protestantism
@PaulVanderKlay Chronically Online orthobros remind me of chronically online Libertarians from like 15 years ago. Vicious, whiney, an over inflated view of themselves and their position in the world.
