Interestingly, this is exactly what they were aiming for in Jonestown in the 1970s. Children were intentionally separated from their parents and raised “communally”. It worked out pretty terribly!

it's crazy that the people who talk about fascism the most always follow it up with a new fascist proposal like "abolish the nuclear family."

which by the way, I don't even understand in theory, what's the policy proposal here? any baby born to a couple must either be surrendered or raised by only one of the parents?
