@GlowSurfing @Ezenegwu common sense in our economy says $200 for provisions on 4 day trip isn't enough. when she was given $200 for her birthday, told to have fun, and a credit card, I could understand her assumption that cash was for fun and the card was for food. this is a misunderstanding.

@TheKelmom @Ezenegwu sure, why not? So long as my folks knew where I was, when to expect me to check in, who I was with (and they were reasonably responsible). I don't really see a problem with it. often used to go to lan parties and stuff at friends' places while the parents were out of town

@Anticleric I've been buying solid PC VR titles fairly often to play on my 8k x, reverb g2, and index (also still have my Rift CV1). there are quite a few PC VR enthusiasts like myself who can't wait to play low-fi when it's done! and really want a pimax 12k qled when it's final.

@creditkarma mint is going away, and CK doesn't allow me to look through my transactions by creditor or allow me to set savings goals? looks like it's all "net worth" stuff which I'm not interested in. I used mint for single-pane financial management and planning for years.

@TWiT re: Mozilla's Reorganization & Refocus video: firefox is the most advanced browser for heavy multitaskers. because of how chromium's main thread works, it can't support many thousands of tabs without slowing down to a crawl. I have 3700 tabs open in firefox right now.

@datarhei (how) is it possible to change the resolution on a per-destination basis (assuming we're already encoding to a new bit rate anyway, I want restreamer to scale the resolution from 4k to 1080p for some targets.) how do?
