Cole Pladson can HIT!
Dude uses his hands to turn the barrel to the ball VERY VERY well, and that's something that you really can't teach.
You can teach kids how to swing, but teaching them how to "hit" is a whole different thing. The adjustments to match the movement of pitches, etc.. are parts of the process that only experience can teach.
So, it's obvious he has a higher level of experience of hitting against very good pitching than his age might suggest.
Dude is strong too, and is right in line with all these newcomers who are "plug and play" from a body standpoint.
HUGE potential offensively for this young man. HUGE! #gopokes #okstate
Cole Pladson, 2X Kansas Gatorade Player of the Year, had 2 hits today, including an impressive home run. Pladson is a Freshman, but has a body and presence that is far beyond his age.
Dude can RAKE! #gopokes#okstate
